Several warships from all around the world gather together in Gulf of Aden

In order to take ships from Asia and Middle East to Europe, piracy in Gulf of Aden force shippers to change routes that run through the Suez Canal. It sounds crazy to have to go all around Africa to get to Europe.

Military navy from various countries are gathering together at the Gulf of Aden, with a common purpose, catch the pirates around Somalia, an area 3 times the size of Mediterranean Sea.

Patrolling warships from Greece, Iran, Germany, US, Portugal, Canada, Russia, Australia, India, France, China, Denmark, Italy, Turkey, South Korea and United Kingdom, are trying to eliminate this piracy infection in international waters.

Even unfriendly nations join efforts against piracy: a South Korean helicopter rescued North Korean crew.
